About the Observatory
A Regional Platform for Knowledge, Participation, and Sustainable Development
The Regional Observatory is one of the activities of the project “Strengthening the Roles of NGOs in Sustainable Development and Climate Action (Sustainable Empowerment)”, funded by the European Union and implemented by [Implementing Organization] in [Governorate], in partnership with Misr El Kheir Foundation.
The Observatory contributes to good governance and sustainable development by strengthening civil society organizations’ participation in decision-making and policy formulation. It also supports monitoring and evaluation activities and the preparation of periodic reports on the state of sustainable development at the local, regional, and national levels.
In addition, the Observatory aims to monitor progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals and climate action at the local level, strengthen the role of civil society organizations in development, document successful practices, generate knowledge, and facilitate community dialogue.
